A ROOM FOR LEARNING Excerpt in Fall issue of Yankee Magazine

In advance of my my book A Room for Learning: The Making of a School in Vermont, Yankee Magazine has published a 2500 word excerpt from the book in YM's new Fall issue. The excerpt focuses on the the day one of my students wrote and submitted his first-ever poem. Yankee Magazine is available in most New England grocery stores, book stores, and old fashioned general stores.
